Resumo: | BENTES, Marilda Vinhote. Subjetividade e docência Wapixana, 2016. Dissertação (Mestrado em Letras) – Coordenação do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras, Universidade Federal de Roraima, Boa Vista-RR, 2016. Based on a cognitive-functional paradigm, this work has the objective to analyze the construction of subjectivity of a Wapishana’s teacher, considering, in particular, aspects related to the modalization, evaluation and evidentiality. From the cognitive-functional perspective or Linguistics based on use, the subjectivity emerges in the discursive-pragmatic context, in which occurs the negotiation and renewal of meanings of lexical-grammatical elements between speaker/writer and recipient/reader in interaction, in function of their communicative purposes. Thus, by means of specific linguistic expressions used in his speech, the speaker builds a representation of himself, his subjectivity. Aspects related to the teaching took as basis some legal documents and, considering the specificities of indigenous communities, direct to an intercultural and interactional process. From the methodological point of view, the search falls in a qualitative perspective, in which I carry out a case study from a semi-structured interview and recorded with a teacher of an Indigenous Language discipline in the Serra do Truaru community. The results reveal subjectivity marked culturally whose desires to provide a quality teaching face challenges related to the lack of adequate infrastructure and the gradual loss of interest of students and the community by the taught discipline, especially in the function of the community surrounding influences. |
