Resumo: This work develops a comparative analysis of performance in relation to steel consumption of the structural elements of metallic structure hangars. This study takes into consideration the parametrization of the models, that is, adoption of geometrics criteria to be used for the analysis. It was taken into consideration the variation of free spans of 70 to 100 m and distance between frames of 5 and 10 m. The structural solutions was develloped with steel rolled open sections or in tubular sections. In addition, was studied the composition of three types of truss cover: straight truss, sloping banzos truss and arched truss, all of Warren type. It was still taken into account the influence of three types of structure bracing: in “X”, “K” and “Y”, besides the influence on the steel consumption of beans of open profiles, tubular profiles and steel joist. In order to obtain and efficiency parameter, the comparsion between the steel consumption of the models was taken into account. In the comparative analysis, was seen that the model with lower consumption was formed with tubular profiles and arc cover with distance between frames of 10 m. Finally some manufacturing, transport and assembly solutions of two models used in this work were demonstrated, as well as solutions for the standarts connections of these models.
