Resumo: | Heavy rains and floods are old and everyday problems in Brazilian cities, especially in the city of Rio de Janeiro. With a high dependence on the urban bus service, the Carioca population suffers intensely from the interruption or lack of information about the operation of the service in moments with these, in which the road infrastructure, impaired by the disordered occupation and lack of urban planning, sometimes makes travel unfeasible in the city. Inspired by new dynamics given to the study of resilience as a way to prevent damage due to climatic events, this work proposes an Resilience Index of Bus Lines to floods based on adaptation of AHP model which considers the characteristics of Fleet, Extension and Distance between bus lines, as well as the existence of exclusive lanes on the path. Finally, as study case, there is a cross-check performance of the outcome of the proposed index with another index of propensity to floods in regions of the city, in order to show the opportunity to use it as a decision-making tool in the planning of urban management. |
