Resumo: | The research line aiming at the development of live load models for bridge design in Brazil is pursued focusing on the dynamic amplification factors produced by the passage of the loading configurations that provides maximum responses on bridges. The analysed structures are bridges with span between 10 and 40m and also cantilevers between 2,5m and 10,0m length. The extreme static internal forces were obtained previously by means of specially developed heavy vehicle data base, traffic simulation and static analysis . It’s used a mathematical-numerical-computacional model representingthe interaction between pavement, vehicle and structure to obtain the time histories of displacements and internal forces and corresponding amplification factors. Those results enabled the determination of dynamic extreme values of internal forces produced by the actual traffic of heavy vehicles which consist of the target values for the new live models to be proposed. A comparision between these values and those derived from Brazilian code live load model are also presented. |
