Resumo: | This thesis discusses the work process of the peconheiro and analyzes in which way the installation of the freezing and processing factory of açaí will impact the life and work of the peconheiro inf the area of Vila de São Miguel do Pracuúba-PA. In order to understand the work process of the peconheiro, it has been necessary to understand the several phases that make the productive chain of açaí. It has been noticed that the social invisibility of the peconheiro is disconnected from the logic of social reproduction of work, but it is sustained that the activity of collecting açaí must be considered as a category of productive work, generator of surplus value and responsible for supplying the market of local consumption, national and international. The conclusion is that the peconheiro must not be categorized as extractive activity, that the structure of commercialization of the fruit of açaí is not framed in the concept of value chain and that the creation of a Research Center for Sociotechnical Innovations and Organization for Located Development might contribute to create other technical bases for fruit collection; to stimulate the integration between the collaborators arranging the construction of innovative social structures and sustainable solutions; to influence the construction of power; to create collectivizing social relations, to formulate, reorganize and mix elements from scientific knowledge to empirical knowledge generating a located cycle of economical, social and cultural development, which might act as model for other places with rich nature from Paraense Amazon. |
