Resumo: In this research, aspects of inclusive education and special education are presented. For this, the new attributions of the work of teaching in public schools with students included are considered, aiming at inclusive processes in accordance with the special political guidelines of the Ministry of Education (MEC). In this sense, the research problem is to identify the vision of teachers 'work in crowded classrooms in municipal schools in the city of Duque de Caxias – a field research site in the light of Ricardo Antunes' work perspective. The goal is to analyze approaches and distances of the special education teacher with the concept and typology of intellectual from the perspective of Henry Giroux. Under the methodological aspect, the research was carried out after a systematic review of the literature and the conceptual presentation of the theoretical reference. Then, semi-structured interviews are conducted with teachers from the municipal education network who work with included students. As a result of this dissertation the product proposal was developed with the data collected and based on the suggestions of the participants in improving the service in the resource room. Aiming to assist the professionals who work in the Resource Room of the schools of this municipality. Thus, it should be noted that the theoretical frame of reference used is separated into two plans for the analysis of the data, one being the work perspective of Ricardo Antunes and the other the concept and typology of Henry Giroux's intellectual.
