Resumo: | The characteristics acquired by RG since its origin, foster the creation of infinite possibilities of movement and establish a significant link between the sport and the public. This study aims to present the elements that connect the gymnastic choreography to the spectators, through a shared aesthetic experience and, from then on, to update the concept of RG based on these elements. In this context, the study used qualitative research, in a phenomenological perspective, divided into two moments. The first one has bibliographic content, focused on the theoretical references published in texts that address the theme in question, using the descriptors body, sport and gymnastics, individually and associated. In the second moment, we used the phenomenological-hermeneutic qualitative research modality and the methodological resource used was the interview technique, supported by the video analysis of the Italian set of five arches, version 2017/2018, intentionally chosen, given the artistic characteristics present in it. To favor the understanding of the listed theme we divided the text in five chapters that deal with the unveiling of RG and its aesthetic essence until its definition updated from the aesthetic experience shared between gymnasts and the public. In the final considerations, we answer the study questions and reaffirm the importance of understanding sports outside the common frameworks, leaving the merely technical or quantitative questions, opening the possibility of fostering a more sensitive look on other body practices that compose Physical Education and considering the body as a vehicle of expression. |
