Resumo: The bond and satisfaction of the users are directly related to the conditions of access to health services within a welcoming approach, which ensures continuity of care. The objectives were to identify the existence of relationship between nurses and mothers of children under two years in nursing consultation on Primary Health; analyze how the relationship affects the search for the mother to keep the child in the nursing consultation. Descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Seven doubles, each one formed by a nurse who carries out its activities in a Family Health Unit in District III from João Pessoa city and a two-year old child s mother that was interviewed. Data collection was conducted in the months from May to November 2013, through semi-structured interviews. Data were analyzed according to content analysis in the form of cross-thematic analysis. The research was conducted viewing the guidelines of Resolution 466/12 of the National Health Council, the project was approved by the Ethics Committee on Research with protocol number 0096 / 2012 and CAAE: 02584212.3.0000.5188. It was shown that for the participants in this study nurses, primary care already exists in a ruled in the bond interface. Moreover, these have shown that they know the basic resources required for bond formation, which is important to establish an effective relationship membership user to the health service. According to the interviewed mothers, to build a caring and qualified hearing relationship, influences the demand for health facility for nursing consultation to their child, even when they are healthy. The data showed that the establishment of bonds positively influences the demand from mother to keep the child in the nursing consultation. We conclude that the bond and trust are necessary elements, but challenging in construction of comprehensive and humane care, in addition of being fundamental importance for the management and evaluation of health services.
