Resumo: | The Thesis deals with a singular experience of popular education and education for the memory with the Memorial of the Peasant Leagues and the educators of the education network in Sapé-Pb. The general objective of the research is to analyze how the history and memory of the Peasant Leagues have been the object of educational actions carried out in/with the Memorial of the Peasant Leagues and Struggles and the Luiz José Gonçalo Municipal School, municipality of Sapé/PB. As specific objectives, we intended to outline the theoretical-conceptual and methodological elements of the Dialogue between Popular Education and Education for Never Again; examine and contextualize the policy of forgetting during the period 1964-1985 and the policy of memory and truth throughout the democratic process; understand the formation of the Peasant Leagues movement in the Northeast and Paraiba in the historical period from 1954 to 1964; To identify the actions developed with/by the Memorial of the Peasant Leagues and Struggles; to characterize the Luiz José Gonçalo Municipal School as a space of knowledge production, building educational processes about Education for Never Again together with the Popular Educators. We took as theoretical reference of analysis the Popular Education and Memory Studies in a critical-dialectical approach. This is a qualitative research involving documentary research and semi-structured interviews. As a technique for data analysis, we used the construction of the Freirian conceptual framework from the content analysis of the interviews. The territory of the Peasant Leagues has been constituted in a place of memory and education for never again, involving social movements, unions and rural settlements and schools of the municipal and state network of Sapé. Experiences of education for the memory have been carried out by the Memorial of the Peasant Leagues and Struggles and the public schools that inserted it in the socio-educational calendar. The peasant identity, crossed by violence and silencing processes, has the possibility of being recognized and decriminalized through the experience of education for never again. |
