Resumo: | This dissertation research fits into the field of geographic education, correlating its analysis within the perspective of Sexuality. Research on sexualities in geography education is directed, presenting social and cultural identities as parameters in the investigation of geographic spaces. School spaces are notorious examples of the manifestations present in the identities of postmodern subjects (Hall, 2015), they fit into, penetrate, create and recreate new and multiple identities. The homosexual identity of six geography teachers in the city of João Pessoa, state of Paraíba, is the object of study of this qualitative investigation (Farias and Weber, 2008), which seeks to interpret through the methodology of case studies and subsidized by research instruments: semi-structured questionnaire and focused interviews, the experiences of gay and lesbian teachers in the teaching of geography in elementary schools, presenting the homoerotic identities of these subjects as a source of analysis in Geographic Sciences. |
