Resumo: | Learning how to learn is a perspective of continuous processes involving teaching and learning that occur in the midst of digital culture. We studied about active assimilation processes which facilitate the act of structuring knowledge within this context. Theoretically, this research was based on: the Assimilation Theory by David Ausubel and the Theory of Conceptual Maps by Joseph Novak. It is a theoretical research which analyzes forms of content assimilation going from a concrete experience, as a manner to think about learning in educational environments, as a consequence, stimulating and proposing a meaningful learning for living within society. Our research problem motivated us to discover what are the main categories of the Assimilation Theory that can be useful in the creation of learning objects for education present/face-to-face or distance learning? . Our general objective is to systematize the main categories of the Assimilation Theory in respect to the requirements to structure meaningful learning. Digital technologies alter people‟s lives, enabling them to build various mentalities. Our concern is situated in educational events which are proposed within this technological context. How people will modify their ways of thinking and acting before new social, affective, cultural and economic relations. Our consideration departs from issues related to Information and Communication Society, digital culture, deterritorialization processes, technological convergence, learning, mapping of mental models, in the purpose of learning meaningfully. The approach conceived by digital technologies and the emergence of new kinds of teaching (for instance distance education) made new educational practices come up, which can be understood from a new conceptual language. |
