Resumo: | This research proposes to analyze how reinterpreted the myth of portuguese queens Isabel of Aragon and Inês de Castro, a parodic perspective on contemporary historical novels Inês de Castro (2006) and Memories of the holy Queen (2009) spanish writer María Pilar Queralt del Hierro. For this, the concept of postmodern parody written by Linda Hutcheon (1991) and (1989) it was relevant because it refers to an observation of the past with a sharper eye enabling the development of new and different versions of facts and historical characters. In this sense, we see how the novelist elaborates and recreates aspects of life of Elizabeth queen of Aragon and Inês de Castro, subverting the perspective of the myth created about his legacy. The considerations Eliade (1972), Brunel Pierre (2005), Victor Jabouille (1994) were essential as regards the discussion of the myth. The theoretical references that discuss about the historical novel and helped in the course of the study were the study Maria de Fátima Marinho (1999) and Célia Fernandes Prieto (1998). Thus, this research aims to contribute to understanding the development of a closer look at the theory of parody proposed by Linda Hutcheon, who brings a novelty to portray this positive feature in the analysis of novels as well as bring to light the writer's works María Pilar Queralt del Hierro and his writing focused on women entering the literary scope, giving you space and prerogatives that denote an effective participation in the engendering of contemporary narratives |
