Despite the efforts made by professionals who make up the social protection network in the municipality of Santana dos Garrotes - PB, acting on situations of violation of rights and social vulnerability of children and adolescents has been quite a challenge, because even though the territory considered small, it is a place where the social conditions of the population are significantly different, with most people living in conditions of poverty and extreme poverty. When it comes to extreme situations, there is a considerable portion of the child and youth population in situations of social vulnerability and violation of rights, which are presented as follows: situation of abandonment, mistreatment, grooming, sexual violence, neglect and others. Thus, this dissertation aimed to analyze the situations of violations of rights and social vulnerability of children and adolescents from the performance of the social protection network and its ways of coping with this violence in the municipality of Santana dos Garrotes – PB to serve the infant population. -juvenile in the materialization of their rights. The methodology chosen for this research is divided into literature review and field research, the latter being divided into two parts: application of a questionnaire and a semi-structured interview script. In the first stage, a bibliographic review was carried out to understand the central themes from the existing academic-scientific productions. In the second phase, seven seven questionnaires and seven semi-structured interviews were carried out with professionals from the social protection network of the municipality in question. All the material collected was categorized and confronted with the theoretical substrate, in order to support the discussions and conclusions of this dissertation. It is concluded that the actions developed, through the social protection network for children and adolescents, in the municipality of Santana dos Garrotes - PB, are not being fully materialized due to the weaknesses caused by the lack of dialogue between the network, the lack of planning network, lack of continued training for the staff of professionals working in social protection in the municipality, lack of mapping of situations of violation of the rights of children and adolescents and their places of occurrence, lack of mapping of the local social protection network and others. In other words, there are several elements that contribute, to some extent, to the fact that the protection of boys and girls is not fully implemented.
