To present master's degree dissertation, entitled - Centralidade of the Work in the marks of the Contemporary Capitalism, intends to analyze the contours that involve the work in the marks of the present time. He/she/you breaks of the transformations orchestrated in the ambit of the organization of the work, above all in the last decades of the century XX, which cart a series of controversies around the social thought: would the central work be in the contemporary capitalist sociability? In the intention of elements that clear this inquiry appearing, it is looked for with this study to apprehend the connections estruturantes of the debate critically concerning the end of the centralidade of the work, the aspects that you/they particularize him, and, especially, the current theoretical elaborations of the thesis of the technological determinism as motor of the history. At the same time, they are presented the historical and social determinations that they found the debate on the centralidade of the work or your invalidade for the present period, by study of the configurations assumed by the work, starting from the decade of 1970. In this course, he/she comes to the light of the method critical-dialético the defense of the thesis of centralidade of the work, while eternal human need and, therefore, central in the sociability contemporary's marks.
