Resumo: This dissertation aims to ground and present a hermeneutic analysis of the concept Will to Power in Friedrich Nietzsche’s thought. For this, we initially start from the appearances of this concept in the works Thus Spoke Zarathustra and Beyond Good and Evil. Based on Thus Spoke Zaratustra, as well the consultation and reference to works by interpreters of Nietzsche’s thought, we seek to ground and present the Nietzschean understanding of Will to Power, or Life, as the will command and obedience play. In the same way, based on Beyond Good and Evil, as well the consultation and reference to works by interpreters of Nietzsche’s thought, we seek to ground and present the Nietzschean understanding of Will to Power as the will command affection. After that, we will take as reference the appearances of this concept in the posthumous fragments of the philosopher gathered in the book Will to Power. From these posthumous fragments gathered in this book, we will seek to ground and present Nietzsche’s understanding of Will to Power as Principle of Value.
