Resumo: | The present work aims to investigate the actions of perpetrators of human rights violations within the scope of the Universidade Federal da Paraíba, in the context of the Brazilian military dictatorship. With a methodological approach based on documentary research, the collection of data on the subject will be transformed into a dossier, in an attempt to explain the motivation and types of violations of the perpetrators. In order to better understand the period of the military dictatorship, a focus on the perpetrators is necessary, since the theoretical findings on the subject immerse, for the most part, the narratives obtained from the victims' reports. The breakdown of this paradigm, therefore, is to decrypt the actions of perpetrators of human rights violations with a cut in the institution of higher education. Using human rights, democracy and dictatorship themes, an arc is formed around the authoritarian actions of agents of the dictatorship to collaborators of the UFPB. The results obtained in this research point to the performance of public agents of the institution and the Brazilian Armed Forces, in violations of consecrated human rights, such as the right to education, freedom of expression and right to work. This study presents, as a reflection, the awareness about the excesses caused in the Brazilian dictatorship, aiming at a construction of the collective memory of the period. |
