Resumo: Introduction: Sexual violence directed at women generates numerous consequences for people who experience their cycle. Measures have been taken in recent years to combat this phenomenon and, despite advances, the reality of services with regard to care for women in situations of sexual violence is still precarious and unsatisfactory. Objective: To validate the content of an instrument based on structural components for the evaluation of care services for women victims of sexual violence. Method: This is a research developed from two perspectives: participatory organizational research and methodological research. Carried out in a service unit for women victims of sexual violence, in partnership with service professionals to develop an instrument to evaluate the structure of this service based on the legislation that deals with the form of organization. This instrument was validated with the collaboration of expert judges in the area of health services evaluation and/or forensics, who evaluated the instrument through a questionnaire. The data returned were analyzed using the Content Validity Index, measuring the percentage of agreement of the judges on the items of the instrument, adopting a rate equal to or greater than 0.80. Results: The evaluated instrument had an overall Content Validity Index of 0.78, with 44 items having a Content Validity Index of 1.00 and 16 items having a Content Validity Index of 0.80. Some items that presented Content Validity values of 0.60 were reviewed to verify their possible need for adequacy or exclusion, and items that presented values lower than 0.60 were predominantly excluded, or revised. Conclusion: This investigation showed that the content of the proposed instrument can be used as a tool for evaluating the structure of reference services with regard to women victims of sexual violence, favoring the monitoring of these spaces of assistance.
