Results: from the literature review, seven scientific articles on financial violence against the elderly were evidenced, from the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) database, with a higher incidence in the years 2015 to 2017. Of the 1009 selected surveys, 403 records were selected , as they are police investigations of crimes on financial violence against the elderly. Regarding the marital status of the victims, 291 women were identified, and 64 of these are married and/or in a stable union; 47 women are single; with 136 widowed women. Of the 135 men who are victims: 22 are married; 19 men in a stable union; 66 singles and 48 divorced and 54 widowed men; also regarding the marital status of the 190 men and women: 136 women and 58 men who did not inform their marital status: 33 women and 25 men, aged between 71 and 89 and with elementary education. with regard to the place of occurrence of the crime against the elderly, the occurrences of violence in the home are noteworthy, with 239 of the complaints; , the records point to 403 occurrences in which they are practiced by family members, with 208 records, followed by 114 by strangers and 81 practiced by acquaintances, without family ties with the elderly person; 1009 occurrences, 403 are financial, economic, patrimonial and embezzlement 59.80% of the financial losses were caused by embezzlement of earnings and properties, theft of values and objects, payroll loan contracts, withdrawals made from their bank accounts, purchases made in their credit card, without the knowledge of the elderly person, carried out by family members or people close to the victims. To this end, the development of the homepage can provide information about violence against the elderly, as well as allowing family members and society in general to identify and report violence. Final Considerations: the results point to a higher incidence of financial violence described as: embezzlement of earnings and properties, theft of values and objects, consigned loan contracts, withdrawals from bank accounts, purchases made on the credit card, without the knowledge or consent of the elderly , mostly carried out by family members or trusted people, in some cases, simultaneously with other types of violence, in the domestic environment, violating the rights related to the elderly. It is expected that the homepage developed will help guide the adoption of preventive practices capable of guaranteeing the rights of the elderly and preventing violence. |
