Resumo: The present work constitutes an analysis between the production and appropriation of leisure spaces in housing estates in the city of Campina Grande, PB. The analysis is justified by the debate on the housing issue in Brazil and the search for the right to the city, especially with the implementation of the Programa Minha Casa Minha Vida that emerged in 2009 as an economic strategy in the face of the 2008 crisis. In addition, it began to collaborate in segregationist processes also in medium and small cities, with the territorial market and the production by public managers and real estate agents in the development of the enterprises, turning into contradictions, including in the leisure spaces, with the insufficiency and the homogenization of the equipments, hindering the socio-spatial practices. Therefore, the research will have as scope to understand the production and the appropriation from the use in two sets - Major Veneziano (I, II, III and IV) and Dona Lindu (I, II, III and IV). The first set for salary level 1 and the second set for level 2 of the program. In order to understand the proposed dialectic, we base the research with the qualitative methodology (semi-directive interview), without disregarding the quantitative input (data on the sets), in order to understand these spaces as a product, and their use value through of the daily life, besides the theoretical framework of some authors like: Harvey, Shimbo, Bonduki, Maricato, Serpa, among others. In this sense, the methodological resources sought to understand the conflicts between the public and the private, production and appropriation, and to understand the conflicts and interactions in the spaces of leisure of the Major Veneziano and Dona Lindu in Campina Grande, PB.
