Google Sites: uma contribuição para o letramento digital na prática docente

Resumo: | This work has as main theme the digital literacy from the perspective of teaching practice in order to provide a guide for the creation and use of websites from Google Sites as a contribution to this literacy. For this, the paper presents the concepts of literacy, digital literacy as a set of literacies (social practices) that are supported by digital devices means for specific purposes, both in socio-cultural contexts geographically and temporally limited, as those built by the interaction mediated electronically ( BUZATO, 2006) and set of material and intellectual techniques, practices, attitudes, modes of thought and values that develop along with the growth of cyberspace, as a new medium of global intercommunication of computers (LEVY, 1999). An ethnographic and collaborative perspective, the work was developed with teachers and high school students of the Technical School José Alencar Gomes da Silva, located in Paulista - PE. For it was applied, with teachers, a questionnaire on technological tools and then a note of these lessons teachers. The answers were included in tables to be analyzed and discussed. At another point, continued training with these teachers to create a website from Google sites was carried out. Concomitantly, a site was already being used with students of that school as interaction through shipping materials, slides and videos about the experienced classes, create a group for discussions, job submission, research etc. After the test, the students also answered a questionnaire about the crafted tool to assess their use. Finally, considerations and reflections on the importance of digital literacy in teaching practice today. The results of this research show the great importance of the use of contemporary digital technologies in teaching and learning process .. Thus, it is expected that in this age of the Internet, the teacher can make your classroom a place of collective buildings, shared learning and awakening a critical look at what digital technology offers. |
