Resumo: | This work deals with the relationship between vocational training of social work guided the Curriculum Guidelines, intrinsic Ethical-Political Project of critical nature component to conservatism and the practice of these professionals on bases of this project. The objective was to analyze the direction given by the practice of social worker, understanding this direction as a challenge, since the socio-occupational spaces in which work social work are also structural part of the conservative rationality present in the current model of society. In this sense, we sought to investigate the existence, or not, of contradictions between the formation, a critical perspective and the professional practice of social workers inserted in these spaces. Thus, the Family Grant Program of João Pessoa city was chosen as a research field, since this program includes elements underlying what we treat as neoconservative, to be characterized as strategic, emergency and palliative, highlighting the tract the social question only in its superficiality and not at its core. The survey was conducted through semi-structured interview, recorded in digital media with ten social workers working in this program and who had professional training within the current curriculum ABEPSS. The purpose was to examine whether the training held in a Ethical and policy perspective, the critical nature conservatism and capitalist society, is ensuring a critical practice, or if the characteristics inherent to the rule of neoliberal nature, impose their rationality to practice of Social Work, leading her to play this conservative nature and also to reproduce as a conservative practice. The hypothesis that conducted the study was that, although the social worker has aligned its training with the Ethical-Political Project, a practice developed in areas of activity that work in the conservative logic, ends up reproducing some extent conservatism, a situation that would be inherent in determining institutional objectives, where such reproduction would be an obligation and not a choice of agents. This study has qualitative and adopts as methodological approach the critical analysis of the contents of the statements of the interviewed subjects. From the data, we find that under the Family Grant Program, are conditions of objective nature, inherent to the operating system and the local government relationship structure, which pose challenges that limit and intend to professional practice of social worker, which is constituted as factors that directs you partner and politically to take a feature that is closest to a practice of reproduction of conservatism. However, this feature appears, contrary to critical discourse exposed by the research subjects, so that the most critically adopts the conservative nature of their practice, since recognize the mechanisms and formal and regulatory procedures, forms of regulation of relations built in social conservative logic of bourgeois society. |
