Resumo: | This dissertation brings a reflection on the practice of social work in the field of mental health, by reference to the new Brazilian psychiatric scenario, which proposes the reinstitutional planning. The search was performed in the city of Campina Grande/PB which gained prominence as a function of intense process of de-institutionalisation occurred in Campinense Institute of Neuropsychiatry and functional rehabilitation, which resulted in nonhospital services appointed caps. Experience highlighted the municipality making national reference in the area of mental health by deinstitutionalisation deployment. This search field covered 07 supplying temporary replacements where services were interviewed 27 top-level professionals. The sample was subdividing on 02 groups: the first formed by 13 social workers entered in mental health network, which seek to verify what the concepts, meanings and expectations in relation to its role performed within these teams. The second group was composed of 14 different professionals. As the criterion for inclusion elect top-level professionals as in training the different categories have interdisciplinary practice knowledge that can be developed within mental health services. As data collection technique, we chose by participant. To receive assistance from professionals, moved in participating units of interdisciplinary teams meetings that occur weekly in services, in which case studies are conducted. On that occasion were applied questionnaires with semi-structured route. To record the sound of the professionals involved use journaling and digital audio-recordings. Documentary research still was held to collect data on instance record books (ata), usually books used in service as internal communication instruments and institutional. Other scientific studies related to the thematic were consulted with the purpose of the survey and analysis of what has been produced on the subject under discussion. Finally, the study quantitative imprint has been schematized quali-under the following modules: (a) workers ' perceptions of RSM/CG/Pb, about the context of mental health services deployed in the municipality under the parameters that govern the new national mental health policy; b) awareness of mental health team on the practice of social worker, here we are trying to identify how this professional is seen by other members of interdisciplinary teams that comprise the RSM, as well as develops relationships built among themselves; and (c)), which sought to respond on the perception of social workers entered in RSM and developing their practices, based on political ethical project that governs the profession, whereas the purposes dictated by Brazilian deinstitutionalisation. To say by way of conclusion, that the analysis showed that professionals interviewed believe that the social worker can perform its functions in accordance with the assumptions of deinstitutionalisation in view of the use of methodological theoretical instrumental, consisting as mediator of a social process of individual rights and collective, interdisciplinary perspective. |
