The exclusion of women in Science is a reflection of deep power relations between women and men, based on hegemonic gender schemes, which impact the insertion of women in the scientific field. Based on this assumption, the research had as general objective: to analyze the social protagonism of women, through the scientific production on the terms 'women, gender and feminism', in the annals of the National Meeting of Research in Information Science (ENANCIB), promoted by the National Association for Research and Graduate Studies in Information Science (ANCIB), from 1994 to 2019. As for the specific objectives, it was intended to map the researchers and the works produced on the theme 'woman', 'gender' and 'feminism ' in the annals of the National Meeting of Research in Information Science (ENANCIB); to draw an overview of the institutional affiliation of the researchers and the training area, the title, the work groups in which the research was published and the types of authorship; knowing the informational contents consciously mediated by the researchers and how they contribute to social protagonism. The research, with a quantitative and qualitative approach, is characterized as an exploratory, documentary and descriptive investigation. Data were collected from the annals of the ENANCIBs, from the BENANCIB repository and from the researchers' lattes curriculum. The sample consisted of articles located in oral communications, posters and expanded abstract. The search was carried out using the title, abstract and keywords. To organize, classify and describe the variables, Excel software and statistical techniques were used to create tables and graphs. Bibliometric procedures were used for document analysis and data discussion. The results revealed that, through the mediation of informational content, the researchers act with a view to contributing to the protagonism of women in Information Science. Scientific productions mediated by researchers on women, gender and feminism mediate information and make women visible as producers and users of information, consciously interfering in informational actions based on the social protagonism of women and on reducing gender inequalities.
