Resumo: For many years, thesauri have been widely used and are important tools for organizing knowledge and representing information, with the purpose of representing and retrieving information in a given domain of knowledge. The construction of thesauri thus requires conceptual mapping that aims to identify and relate the concepts for structuring the classes and the relations of equivalence, hierarchy and association between the terms. In this sense, this research took as its general objective: To analyze the terms of the domain of Pentecostal Systematic Theology in the perspective of future construction of a thesaurus on this theme; and as specific objectives: a) to map the terminology referring to the domain of Systematic Theology; b) establish the terminological relationships between the terms mapped for the construction of a thesaurus and, finally; c) propose a prototype thesaurus specialized in the domain of Pentecostal Systematic Theology. In view of the absence of academic works that relate Information Science with the theme of Theology in general, and the increasing number of productions on Pentecostalism in recent years, the extraction of terms from a Systematic Theology of Pentecostal nature was established as a cut-off. The present study comprises an applied research, seeking to discuss and systematize the knowledge domain of Systematic Theology, without the intention, as a final work, of developing an instrument, such as a thesaurus. As for the objectives, it is an exploratory research with a view to clarifying and presenting concepts and new reflections on the elaboration of thesauri focused on the theological area. It also comprises a descriptive research, as it focuses on methodologies and the description of the thesaurus elaboration processes, specifically those focused on Theology. It constitutes a bibliographic research, as it starts from the use of concepts, theories and methodologies in the light of other researchers and knowledge disseminated in scientific productions on the studies of Organization and Representation of Information and Knowledge in Information Science, in addition to the undertaking of a research of integrative review for the survey of publications related to Information Science and Theology. As a result, a mapping of the terms found in Stanley Horton's Pentecostal Systematic Theology (2019) is presented, and the registration of these terms in individual sheets that identify the conceptual definitions and terminological relationships of the domain, establishing the methodological process for the future elaboration of a Thesaurus of Systematic Theology. The mapping gave rise to 228 terminological cards, with their respective meanings and conceptual relationships. It is concluded that, from the investigation carried out, the area reflects a considerable gap regarding the development of terminological control instruments aimed at Theology, pointing out the possibility of research not only on theological themes, but also on themes that will fill other areas of knowledge, such as religiosity, relating it to Information Science.
