Resumo: | This work and the choice of its theme imply an attempt to produce knowledge about affective-sexual experiences in a context of extreme political, partisan and ideological polarization. In this sense, we aimed to demonstrate that the political phenomenon has become in recent years a relevant criterion for the establishment of affective bonds and sexual relationships between people who seek such experiences with the mediation of the Tinder relationship application. From this, we defend the hypothesis that this phenomenon is occurring due to the scenario of great political-ideological polarization we have been through in recent years, and more than some spaces of affective relationships (family, friendship, affective-sexual relationships) and the affective discourses of these users are intimately linked to this Brazilian politicalideological context of “right” versus “left”, to the point of having become a criterion for relating to the other. To this end, we created two profiles, one with male identification and the other female on the aforementioned platform, through which we carried out the observation, collection and classification of 1219 regular user profiles in the city of João Pessoa. Of these, 381 (31.26%) profiles observed presented some message, phrase, slogan, criticism or support, both to political figures, and interest or refusal by other users in favor or against the ideological positions they share. |
