Resumo: | The objective of this dissertation is to focus on the debate on the inter-relationship between the disrespect for the public good, corruption and the growth of socio-economic inequality in Mozambique. The objective is to examine philosophically, the cognitive and social processes, in order to internalize the human right culturein children and adults born with lack of knowledge on this matter. The problem derives from the corruption culture, a social phenomenon which does not benefit the public interest, and also the intention of that building a human right culture in Mozambique can reinforce actions that fight corruption, defending the hypothesis that knowledge of human rights, especifically regarding the respect for the public good, that is to say, the national treasury, obtained from the public money, to satisfy collective needs, can play an important role regarding the improvement on society moral principles. The descriptive-prescriptive-analytical method is adopted, based on bibliographical research about the plenty of work that reflect the problems of practical ethic, the theory of human rights philosophy and also the moral development in children. Subsequently, it is suggested that human right education should be adopted, as from especific mozambican values as the only condition to fight the corrupt tradition that is currently in Mozambique. |
