This study aimed to evaluate the zootechnical and economic performance indicators of a production system of beef goats subjected to three calves in two years in the northeastern semiarid. Analyzes of a production system of beef goats that sought to obtain three deliveries in two years were carried out in order to verify its viability in view of the zootechnical performance of the production system, as well as to analyze the economic performance indicators of the production system. production. The research was developed during the months of April 2013 and ended in May 2015. From the results obtained, it is concluded that the production system of three births in two years is economically viable, since intensification of reproductive management for reduction the interval between deliveries, the closest to three deliveries in two years, presents itself as an alternative to maximize the production of the herd. But the results indicate caution to invest in the activity of goat farming under the conditions in which this research was developed.
