Resumo: Along Recent History, economical development process mainly capitalist has caused the destruction of natural means because of nature resources super exploration. In association to this development it has been verified the demographic increase in order of human group search for better life conditions, what, in long term, not always comes to reality. The availability of one or more of these natural resources may influence and even determine the development process in a specific place, once its exploration is the way to production. The Suape harbor‟s micro region is made by the county of Cabo de Santo Agostinho and Ipojuca, located in the south of Recife Metropolitan Region RMR, in the state of Pernambuco is an area of great historical, cultural, and environment importance. There, the confluence of political, historical and environment condionants provide the development of neighbor counties as well as other next counties in its neighboring area. This Micro region has been, above all in the last ten years, the stage of intense economical development because of the installation of SUAPE‟s industrial and port Complex named Governor Eraldo Gueiros (CIPS). Suape‟s settling begun on century 20th century, seventies decade. Beyond its economical importance, the micro region has been working since the first years of 20th century as an alternative of water supply to complete RMR provisions stock. As it seems, the increasing of water resources dependency and demand, internal or external, to the Micro region of Suape, has brought great concern about the reality of its water resources, with special attention to the pollution condition, water availability and management. Understanding this reality from an approach that is supported in a environment paradigm which takes in consideration the geographic perspective and has proper concern to territorial and environment administration and other aspects as well as Sustained Development, Water Resources Management and the participation of the cities government Power is a trial of becoming explicit, explaining and better understanding the present situation of water resources in this Micro region and to contribute to those resources management process.
