Resumo: This dissertation was focused on analyzing the Corporate Education policy, in order to know its contribution as a motivational pusher tool, specifically in relation to banking sector employees in the city of João Pessoa, State of Paraiba, considering the importance of motivation in the organizational environment. Therefore, a qualitative research, with the participation of bank employees from the largest banking institutions in the capital of the state of Paraíba was carried out. They were interviewed in their workplaces from August 1st to 15th, 2013. A comprehensive bibliographical search which founded the entire dissertation was accomplished. The postulates and theories of several authors were highlighted, such as Marisa Eboli (1999, 2004, 2005) who deals with the particularities of Corporate Education; Hugo Assmann (2005) who expresses about learning in post-modernity and the role of Technology of Information on the teaching-learning process; Bergamini (2008), who brings in her work a detailed study about motivation; and Starec (2012), who made a study on the real benefits of Corporate Education, among others. In addition to this, we had to make use of other tools/techniques such as Ethnography and the Diachronic, Discourse and Conversation Analyses, which led us to understand that Corporate Education can be used for retaining talent employees, raising the motivational level and improving results in organizations. Finally, the analyses allowed confirming the hypothesis in the genesis of the investigation which led to this dissertation that Corporate Education can and should be used as a motivational pusher tool.
