Resumo: The environmental concerns and the relationship with the nature are important aspects of the person-environment relationship and searches that associate this relationship with predictors of well-being are increasingly more frequent. This study looked for identify associations between the environmental concerns, the relationship with nature, the full attention and the positive and negative affection in university students. 562 graduation students from Paraiba took part, with ages varying from 18 to 64 years old (M = 25.2, DP = 7.53), most of them are female (61,6%). They answered the Relationship with the Nature Scale, Environmental Warnings, Full Attention and Conscience, Positive Affects and Negative Affects and demographic questions. With the intent of confirming the internal validity of the used instruments in the search, were realized tests of Exploratory Factorial Analysis, Confirmatory Factorial Analysis and Cronbach's alpha, proving that all the scales were psychometrically suitable to be used in the context of Brazilian university students. Evidences of this study shows that the women tend to have more environmental selfless altruistic environmental concerns than men do, that they present more affect relationship with the nature and more sense of impact of human activity in the environment, men already have greater comfort and desire to be in nature. In addition, significant differences were found between the areas of vocational training, technology and exact area pointed significantly lower than the environmental area on general score of Relationship with the nature Scale and in it factors (self, perspective and experience). The found results pointed that the altruistic and biosphere environmental concerns have significant association with the full attention and positive affects, being the relationship with nature the fundamental mediator in this relationship.
