Resumo: The librarian's profession appears from activities such as organizing, representing and disseminating information, and Information Science appears from this same expanded need, after the evident exponential increase in information in the mid-20th century. Scientific data has existed since the emergence of science and the organization of this data for use by other researchers was already verified in the 16th century. However, this concern with organizing and disseminating them intensifies with the emergence of e- Science, and is closely linked to the profession of the Librarian. This work has the objective to analyze the training of the professional of Librarianship focusing on training directed to the data librarian, in the context of e-Science, in Brazil. To achieve this objective, the following specific objectives were outlined: to discuss the emergence and consolidation of e-Science; identify the profile of the data librarian in the context of e-Science; survey undergraduate courses in Library Science in Brazil; to raise the Pedagogical Course Projects; survey and identify in the menus and programs of each curricular component which are related to Data Librarianship; to point out the formation landscape of the Library Science courses in Brazil in the face of informational demands in the context of e-Science. This is a qualitative documentary research, which analyzes the pedagogical political projects of the Library Science courses, and uses the technique of Content Analysis to identify in their respective formationing content, elements that characterize the professional's skills in the context of e-Science, based on the studies developed by Sales, Sayão, Maranhão, Drumond and Silva in 2019. It was found that in all Brazilian regions there is at least one course that directly or indirectly addresses some skill or competence of the data librarian. Regarding the updating of the PPCs, just over 50% were updated in the last five years, so it was detected the existence of an updating process in the courses, although not so fast. There is an expectation that this study with its data can contribute to courses that wish to address this topic in their curriculum.
