Resumo: |
This work presents the results of a pedagogical proposal in Environmental Education with a focus on Science, Technology and Society (CTS), which for Santos and Schnetzler (2003) means teaching the content of sciences in the authentic context of their technological environment and Social. ln this research, a sequence of activities based on the three steps proposed by Guimarães (1995) was applied, being: Stage 1 - survey and diagnosis - moment of study of the local reality; Step li - Plan of action - think of the proposals to be developed and Stage Ili - Execution - realization of the proposals. The activities were applied in a ninth grade class of a state school in the municipality of Paraíso do Sul / RS. The contents of Chemistry were developed, such as periodic table, chemical bonds, ions, molecular mass, atoms and chemical elements, which were worked with the students in the discipline of Sciences through a proposal of learning and scientific knowledge. Different activities, debates and reflections were carried out in order to develop criticality in the face of environmental issues. During the development of the action-research process, all observations, questions, doubts and contributions were recorded and analyzed through Content Analysis (Bardin 2009). The development of the activities allowed observing that these, provided to the students an amplification of their visions and knowledge, not only in the chemical concepts, but also in the understanding of environmental and social issues, enabling the formation of a citizen who is criticai and responsible for their actions and positions environmental issues . |
