Resumo: |
This study is part of the research line on teacher formation of the Graduate Program in Science and Mathematics Teaching at the Franciscan University. The objective is to develop a Pedagogical Notebook with activities on celebration dates, which are guided by the assumptions of the National Curricular Common Base for the teaching of Science and Mathematics in Elementary School. It also aims for the resignification of such dates in the school context in articulation with the National Curricular Common Base. Currently, the education system is undergoing several changes to keep up with society's demand and, in this context, teachers must be aware that it is necessary to seek new ways to improve knowledge and to innovate their practice, in order to ensure a qualified environment for their students. Teachers need to be aware that the search for training is a process that must permeate their entire professional life. The purpose of this work is to plan and create a Pedagogical Notebook with suggestions for activities for the following dates: Peace Day, Women's Day, World Water Day, Indigenous Peoples Day, Brazilian Independence Day and Gaucho Day. In each activity, there is a description of the participating subjects, the object of knowledge and the skills that are intended to be developed with the students. The Pedagogical Notebook aims to suggest methodological strategies for the development of some pedagogical activities, in order to articulate the commemorative dates with the Teaching of Science and Mathematics in Elementary School. All activities were structured according to the object of knowledge and skills of the National Common Curriculum Base for the indicated grades. The application of this work took place through a conversation circle between the students of the Integrated Seminar II discipline of the Graduate Program. It is worth mentioning that all the participants in the activity, totaling 11 people, are school teachers. They showed that commemorative dates are historical facts of great relevance to a particular community. The vast majority of teachers emphasized that they work on commemorative dates in the classroom in relation to school content. When asked which dates they usually work in the classroom, the most cited ones were: Environment Day, Farroupilha Week, Women's Day, Mother's Day and Water Day. It is noteworthy that all participants reported that they were able to understand the dynamics of the activities, and the degree of difficulty had an average between 7 and 8. All mentioned that they would use the suggestions for activities from the Pedagogical Notebook. In this way, it seems that the work presented has the potential to be adopted in Elementary School, and teachers can use the planning of such activities or even adapt them according to the school reality of their classes. |
