Resumo: Currently, the compartmentalization of knowledge no longer makes sense in the school context. Thus, in the Early Years of Elementary School, when considering the premise of globalized teaching, the need for interlocution of knowledge to give meaning and fluidity to the process of teaching and learning of children is presupposed. This study is part of the Graduate Program in Teaching of Science and Mathematics of the Franciscan University, in the course of Academic Master, in the research line Teaching and Learning of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. It is inspired by the concerns related to the fragmentation of the curriculum in the Early Years of Elementary School, focusing on the area of knowledge of Natural Sciences, its curricular component Sciences and the curricular component Physical Education area of knowledge of languages. The objective of this study is to analyze the possible interlocutions of knowledge between the area of Natural Sciences and the curricular component Physical Education for the curriculum of Early Years from the interdisciplinary perspective. The research method is characterized as a qualitative, bibliographical and documentary study. This research is carried out from official documents that support the curriculum formulation for Early Years, focusing on the National Common Curriculum Base (“Base Nacional Comum Curricular – BNCC”). Data analysis is based on content analysis proposed by Bardin (2011). From this study, it is understood that the specific competences described in the BNCC for the area of Natural Sciences and for the curricular component Physical Education open the way for interdisciplinary work. In relation to the thematic units and objects of knowledge of the curricular component Sciences, only component of the Natural Sciences area for the Early Years of Elementary Education, if thought and articulated together with the units and objects of the Physical Education component, and interdisciplinary posture with a view to interlocution of knowledge, thus corroborating the achievement of the skills desired for both.
