QUALIDADE DE VIDA DOS PROFESSORES DAS ESCOLAS DO ENSINO MÉDIO DO MUNICÍPIO DE SÃO GABRIEL/RS DURANTE PANDEMIA DO COVID-19

Resumo: The epidemiological brazilian profile had a huge change during the last years, due to the outbreak of Sars-Cov-2 (COVID-19). The working class was significantly affected due to the social isolation decrees, in special, the institutional teachers. They had to change they daily habits, adapting to a new educational scenario, harming their physical activity levels, eating behavior and stress, that impacted directly in their quality of life. This paper aims to evaluate the factors that influence the life quality of high school teachers from the city of São Gabriel / RS during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study was realized through a exploratorium method, in a descriptive way with a quantitative and transversal approach during the period of October to December 2021, by a online questionary. This research realized with 47 teachers, with medium age of 45,6 ± 10,5 years, being 30 female (63,8%) and 17 male (27,2%), during the pandemic period. The data was obtained through a online form, evaluating: the life quality (SF-36), activity level (IPAQ- short version) and eating behavior (R21). By the end of this study, there wasn't obtained enough statistically data (P<0.05), but it was possible to observe a positive influence in the life quality scores of ative individuals compared to those who don't practice physical activities. Furthermore, it was possible to observe that overweight or obese individuals had more eating disorders and emotional eating. Therefore, individuals with normal weight and considered active showed a better life quality, directly influencing their professional and personal contexts. At the end of this research, it was concluded that changes related to the teacher's health are necessary, in order to provide them a better physical and intellectual well-being which will influence in a better life quality and a better educational perfomance.
