Resumo: |
The present research aimed to analyze teacher interviews in a Child and Adolescent Psychosocial Care Center in Santa Maria, RS-CAPSi, specifically focusing on non-formal education and mental health in children and adolescents. The study highlighted the following themes: Child and Adolescent Psychosocial Care Center, non-formal education, mental health, and teacher training. The general objective was to analyze how teachers operate in the CAPSi in Santa Maria/RS. The specific objectives were to map scientific productions on non-formal education and teacher workspaces; understand and critically discuss the contribution of mental health in the field of education; investigate the professional profile of teachers who work in the CAPSi; identify the pedagogical practices developed by teachers who work in the CAPSi; understand teachers' perceptions about mental health work; and highlight, through teachers' voices, unique aspects or specificities of working in the CAPS. To achieve these goals, the research was produced in the form of three articles, where the problem of how teachers operate in a multidisciplinary team in a Child and Adolescent Psychosocial Care Center was addressed, drawing from authors such as Gohn (2010), Libâneo (2002), Pimenta (2002), and Amarante et al (2002) to shed light on the topic. The research was qualitative, using a case study and ethnography as methods of group study, where the researcher interacted with and observed the research subjects to gain understanding of their thoughts and actions, and the State of Knowledge as a method of investigation and exploration of the topic. The electronic databases used in the study were SciELO, Bireme, Portal da CAPES, and BDTD. The content analysis of the interviews was conducted using Discursive Textual Analysis (DTA). The research delved into the topic of teacher involvement in the field of mental health, aiming to contribute to the improvement of teaching practices in mental health and formal education. The articles highlighted the lack of training in theory and practice for teachers in non-formal education spaces, as well as the need for multidisciplinary practices that interconnect the mental health of children and adolescents with education. The research proposed a discussion on the potential of non-formal education spaces, the importance of theoretical and practical studies on non-formal education and mental health in education, and suggested that child mental health spaces could be curricular internship sites for education. |
