Resumo: |
The aim of this study was to investigate the participation of students with physical disabilities (or special needs) included in college education at Rio Grande do Sul from the perspective of the professors, students with physical disabilities and their colleagues. Methodology: The study was carried out with professors, students with physical disabilities and colleagues from college education, for the period of May and June 2021. The participants answered a questionnaire sent by email, composed with multiple choice and essay questions. Results: The study included 5 professors, 2 students with physical disabilities and 13 colleagues. Some issues like: architectural accessibility, support from other students, willingness of professors to help and encourage, dependence of other people, exclusion for part of the colleagues, necessity to have more time for activities; among others, proved to be relevant for personal inclusion in college education. Conclusion: In the view of the participants, personal inclusion was present in college education in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, with most of the participants agreeing on relevant issues for a better inclusion perspective. |
