Resumo: |
This dissertation describes the results of a research that sought to investigate the contributions of the use of Information and Communication Technology (TIC) and Experimental Activities (AEx) in the process of meaning acquisition based on an Ausubel Theory perspective and the construction of a unit of learning in Physics Teaching, in particular in the concepts that involve the topic Thermal Conductivity for students of the Normal Course. This theme was chosen because it is important for future teachers of the elementary school years to understand in a scientific way the concepts that involve Calorimetry and thus to work on their pedagogical practices, concepts related to the subject, in science classes. Since they are present in various phenomena of the daily life of students giving early scientific initiation. The research was applied in the first semester of 2018, with students of the second year of the Normal Course, future teachers of the initial years of Elementary School. The purpose of the learning unit was to serve as a subsidy to future teachers in their pedagogical practices, so that it can contribute to arouse interest in students' scientific initiation. The activities were organized in a Learning Unit (UA) structured according to the methodological approach of the Three Pedagogical Moments (TMP) proposed by Delizoicov and Angotti (1990). The resources proposed and used in the development of the learning unit were: practical experiments, computer simulations, videos, slides, scientific researches, conceptual maps and infographics. The theory that supports this study in the development of learning is the Significant Learning Theory (SAT), which is justified by providing the research subjects with the possibility of reconstruction of significant physical knowledge. This research has a qualitative character, being used as instruments for data collection the questionnaires (pre-test and post-test), student records and participant observation. The theoretical framework was based on researchers in the area of Education who defend the use of SAT and ICT in the classroom as tools that can enhance and promote Significant Learning. The analysis of the data suggests that the use of TAS allied to the use of TIC and AEx can contribute in a potentially significant way in the learning of the contents of Physics, associated with the concepts that involve the topic of Thermal Conductivity. During the work there was a participation and a significant interest of the students and with the analysis of the pre-test and post-test it became evident the appropriation of the concepts about Heat, Temperature, Thermal Equilibrium and the Heat Transfer Forms by the students. |
