Resumo: This dissertation addresses the curriculum of young people soccer training as a central theme. In order to debate the theme, a research path was outlined in order to conceptualize and signal possibilities for the development of training curriculum for initiation and specialization in the various scenarios of football teaching practice. In general, it consists of a qualitative and descriptive study that aims to answer a guiding question: How curriculum for training young footballers be organized? Structurally in order to answer the key question of the study, the work was organized in four chapters that articulate about the theme. The first chapter deals with the process of training footballers in the light of the curriculum, defending the need to organize sports training based on a curricular matrix. In the second chapter, we aim to present with an unprecedented overview of Brazilian research groups (RG) destined to the study of football. The data reveal low production related to soccer curriculum, pedagogical aspects and about soccer coaches in the investigated period. The great demand for studies produced by researchers from research groups is concentrated on biodynamic aspects. The third chapter aimed to present possibilities from researchers studying football in Brazil, to reflect the development of curriculum for teaching-learning-training in football. The data reveal that the curriculum has been viewed as an important mechanism for training. Conceptually, the curriculum is still expressed in a traditional perspective of purposes and content. However, the experts brought important contributions about key elements of a football training process (methodology, evaluation, content). Finally, the last chapter consists of an essay that aims to bring reflections on the dimensions that orbit the formation of soccer players, while dialoguing with the main implications / trends in Sport Pedagogy and the contemporary theoretical currents for the elaboration of the training curriculum for the initiation and specialization of young footballers. It is concluded that the curriculum for the teaching- training of soccer is imperative, being a systemic platform that encompasses the elements inherent to the formation of people in the scope of soccer. But, despite the contributions of this study, it is understood that the debate on the curriculum in sport still needs to be strengthened, in the sense of building an epistemological base cohesive and pertinent for curriculum design in football. It is suggested, studies that manage to dialogue with the different fronts of knowledge already available (biodynamics; tactical-technical; social ...), in addition to applied studies (in the long term) that propose training from a curriculum. Thus, this study sets precedents for new research on the subject, and reaches the possibility of showing preliminary indicators on curriculum in football.
