The dissertation shows a reflection of socio-cultural moment we are living in a time where liquid behavior patterns do not solidify, however, others have understand that we are in the hypermodern era, dominated by the excess and exaggeration, where the individual ranges its existence in one of these poles; where mobility of beliefs, behaviors, tastes volatile desires, which leads this individual also take a multiple identity according to the context where it is inserted, which will be represented in the concept of body matrix. It will also be discussed volatile identities driven by force of fashion and others that appear to maintain a duration that are sported by bodymodification supporters.
