Resumo: Introduction: Nursing workers are treated and due to the circumstances of their intensive, psychic intensive practices, greater attention to health, physical, physical and mechanical problems, physically and mentally. These professionals in the senile phase need attention from, in addition to the physiological adjustment to wear and tear during the natural period, the long exposure to multifactorial factors mentioned above that potentiates the decline in fact and individuals exercise their attributions of attributions of level of training a professional exercise based on manual work and another intellect, which can interfere with the Quality of Life. Objective: To compare the health profile and the total healthrelated quality of life score of nursing workers aged 60 and over, according to their level of education.. Methodology: This is an epidemiological study, with a cross-sectional design, analytical descriptive, part of a matrix project, where the data collection process was developed in the city of Cuiabá - MT, with nursing workers who reached the third age until the end 2018. Data were collected through three instruments containing closed and objective questions, namely: Sociodemographic and professional characterization of the subjects; individuals' health profile; The Medical Outcomes Study 36-item ShortForm Health Survey (SF36). A total of 373 nursing professionals participated in the study, 286 of which were high school graduates and 87 were college graduates. Data were double-typed to avoid inconsistencies or errors and organized in a spreadsheet. Then they were imported into R software (R Core Team, 2021). The analysis of variables was performed based on the chi-square test, Shapiro-Wilk test (p < 0.05), and GAMLSS regression models that were adjusted considering the Johnson SU (JSU) distribution for the response variable overall score of the SF-36. Results: It was found the prevalence of females, non-smokers and non-alcoholics, overweight (70.98%), presence of chronic cardiovascular diseases (61.89%) who use older continuous age and do not refer to occupational disease . The overall Health-Related Quality of Life score was considered good, with an average level of 69.81 points and a higher level of 74.01. Among the domains of the instrument, general health status (61.76), pain (63.50) and limitation due to physical aspects (67.90) were the ones with the least planning. The use of antihypertensive drugs (68.03), presence of occupational (66.31), retired professional status (67.95) and presence of musculoskeletal diseases (64.84) affect the mean score. Mid-level professionals who had physical limitations scored 65, scored 05 and higherlevel professionals 4.83. Those who had children scored 69.17 and 74.10 respectively. Conclusion: It is life related to the health of professionals that is relevant for the elderly to approach the working condition, health is quality for this stage of life to provide conditions to provide environments that promote preventive work to the worker.
