Resumo: The present master's research in psychology arises from some concerns that took place in the clinical care of adolescents. These involved with their transformations inherent to the development and anguish as a subject and their forms of suffering. In early 2020, we were affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic and under the guidance of the World Health Organization (WHO), one of the main measures to reduce the spread of the virus restricted the gathering of people. Schools suspended their face-to-face activities. With the impossibility of attending educational institutions, there was a challenge about other ways of structuring the teaching processes, in order to effectively promote them; at that moment, digital platforms established this space of a school ambience, an education mediated by remote technology. This research aimed to investigate, through the theoretical framework of Freud-Lacanian psychoanalysis, how educational transformations mediated by technology affected adolescent high school students in the city of Cuiabá-MT. Five students aged between 15 and 18 from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Mato Grosso - Campus Cel participated in the research. Octayde Jorge da Silvado. School institution chosen as a field for research that, through its history, contributes a lot to the evolution and role in education, including aspects such as social inclusion, territorial development and relations with the community. Based on our readings, we highlight the importance of Federal Institutes as a field of our research. As researchers, we were not exempt from the effects of the pandemic, for this reason we saw the need to talk about the challenges faced during the research process, including issues related to the pandemic. In this sense, it is worth emphasizing the need to understand the context and particularities of educational institutions for a precise analysis. We describe the implementation of the research instruments, starting with a meeting with the participating students. Data collection took place through group workshops at the IFMT laboratory, with weekly meetings of 90 minutes each. This active method allowed the participation of students and ensured the quality of the research. With a qualitative approach, the study is based on the methodology of discourse analysis, a method that provides the researcher with an investigation that considers the meanings attributed to psychic discomfort, based on the experience of education mediated by remote technology in times of a pandemic, by the participants. . It is understood that from the discourse it is possible to verify the relationship between language and ideology, in addition to verifying how the effects of meaning are generated through the statements. It should be noted that the analysis will be guided by a psychoanalytical listening in interface with the school institutional context. Data collection was carried out in two stages: the first with four workshops. In the second stage, individual semi-structured interviews with the adolescents who participated in the group workshops. After the applicability of the research steps, we proceeded to analyze the data using the discourse analysis method. One of the great challenges in research in psychoanalysis is the belief that there would be no materiality in its method. However, since Freud, in his writings, we find evidence that the creator of psychoanalysis himself defines it as (1) Method of treatment; (2) Research method and (3) A new science. Through Lacan's teachings, Freud's definitions are reaffirmed, according to which clinic and investigation, despite not being the same, go together. Discourse analysis is a method that produces meanings, that is, language is a structure that sustains the very materiality of history and the unconscious (DUNKER, AULON and RAMO, 2016). Discourse analysis, therefore, is an approach that involves a critical and interpretative investigation of linguistic texts, considering the social, political and cultural contexts in which these texts are produced and interpreted.
