The purpose of this research is to present the possibilities of reading a work of comic books, understood in the semiotic approach, thereby, understand resources that influence the reading of a manifesto that language. The object used for case study is part of the production from the cuiabano artist Ricardo Leite, and through his work and taken a methodological tool of semiotic chains, there are three levels of reading, they being the Foundation Level, the Narrative and Discourse, each frame allowing more deeply certain features of this language, but they all phenomena capable of being read every spectator. Watching these levels and their operation is a way to broaden and deepen the academic dialogue on this artistic language.
