Resumo: | This dissertation has as its core the research of the theme of art autonomy, although here limited to the universe of the artist's relationship with the production of the work of art and the possible separation between the moment of production of the work with the consequent loss of control of it by the artist, at the moment of its contemplation. At the beginning, we approach the main conceptual philosophical currents of art, notably those that are reflected in the construction of the theory of the autonomy of art. Then, Kant's ideas are presented, as the main theoretical reference in the concept of art autonomy and the main guiding point for establishing the research premises. In this part, beside discussing the main aspects of autonomy, the idea of the beautiful and the sublime, the aspects related to the criticism of autonomy are also discussed; themes related to the social and political implications of art and its possible influence in these fields of knowledge are inserted, which also introduces the ideas of Peter Burger, critic of the autonomy of art, and the reflections of the thinking of philosophers who approached art from a revolutionary perspective and politics, like Marcuse and Adorno. Finally, the research focuses on the figure of the artist and the work of art conceived by himself. Concepts and definitions about the artist, his background and the elements that characterize his skill and talent for artistic creation are treated. From a philosophical point of view, the idea of genius in the Kantian conception, its attributes, and relationship with nature and the work of art are analysed. The issue of the artist's mythification is also analysed, as well as to what extent this can be decisive in the creation of a supposed work of art that is not not autonomous, and the relationship between signature and of a personality, and how this can condition his work as not autonomous. The nature of the work of art and the moment in which it is supposed to achieve its autonomy in relation to the artist who created it. |
