Resumo: The theme of Health Promotion, including sexual and reproductive health, has been discussed in the country by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, which seek teaching strategies based on the acquisition of students' skills to build healthier lifestyles. In the final years of elementary school, adolescents live a period of many doubts about the transformations of the body between childhood and adulthood and considering the pedagogical practice experienced with this age group, between 15 and 16 years of age, questions arise related to the human Reproduction. The preparation of the booklet “Promotion of sexual and reproductive health in adolescents” included content on the life cycle of women, with the aim of verifying whether the theme was dealt with in a clear and efficient way, answering the doubts and concerns of adolescents regarding the cares with the body. Also, checking if the scientific and technological knowledge acquired offered conditions for self-reflection of the participants in making decisions regarding the topic addressed. This research is a qualitative approach, when the nature of the research was applied, according to the objectives it was exploratory, and the procedure adopted was bibliographic being applied during Biology classes in the 1st year of high school class in a virtual environment from the São Vicente de Paula State School in the municipality of Sinop - MT. In total, 14 students using the booklet received the lectures dialogued from June to July 2021, and it was validated through a semi-structured questionnaire based on an individual interview with two voluntary participants in November 2021. The research was approved by the ethics committee in research with human beings and the narratives were categorized according to the methodology of Bardin (2011). The literature indicates that the acquisition of scientific knowledge about contraceptive methods and body care are important allies in the consolidation of actions aimed at the quality of life of adolescent women. The study brought results in the students' reports that allowed us to conclude that the images of the material presented drew attention and helped in the understanding of the content, solving curiosities about the body and, above all, in relation to contraceptive methods. One of the participants shared the knowledge with her co-workers. The booklet points out resources that can enrich the human reproduction classes brought in the textbook, but making it clear that its application varies depending on the academic context, the profile of the students and the types of content worked.
