Resumo: | Advances in science and technology have considerably changed the way people live and relate. Given this scenario, it is necessary to incorporate into teaching practice methodologies that meet this new profile. The smartphone is a technology that adds various technological resources, allows access to different formats such as search, videos, applications, features such as camera, calculator, shares digital texts, offers a multitude of possibilities. This paper presents a Teaching Sequence using this mobile device as a methodological tool for the teaching of Biology. The research was conducted with first year high school students in a public school in the city of Sorriso, Mato Grosso, and investigated the efficiency of the resources used in the Didactic Sequence, through the students' performances in the theme Ecology, which the objectives of teaching sought to contribute to the formation of life-conscious students by encouraging them to take action to maintain the environment and biodiversity. Learning performance tests were statistically evaluated using the paired Student t-test (5% significance). The results were significant and the gains in general learning were twice the initial value (52.1%). Thus, inserting into the lesson plan an activity that uses this device as a pedagogical tool can provide a facilitating environment in the teaching-learning process, allowing students different sources of knowledge, creativity development, and permeate the work of teachers who seek innovations in teaching. their educational pedagogical practices. |
