Resumo: | The Pantanal consists of a large-scale flooding environment. In geological terms, it constituted a recent sedimentary basin still in formation. It has the complex and needs to work better mode. The limits of the Pantanal in general are not known in terms of detail and semidetail. The works that attempt to delineate the area of the Pantanal are developed on a regional scale, which brings limited results for understanding the landscape on the edge of the environment. This work aims to identify the Pantanal plain area in the region of Santo Antônio de Leverger, MT, in a semi-detail scale of 1:50,000, in addition to evaluating the spectral index of best performance for this purpose. The results indicated that in the study area, the typical characteristics of the lowland region of the Pantanal are a pedological system formed by Argilluvic Plintosol and Arenosol and by Fluvisol, Gleysol and Histosol. The relief features are present in a low topographic gradient and are located at limited elevations, generally at 155 meters within the study area. The result of this work also makes it possible to evaluate the spectral indices applied to the study of inundation and inundation. In this sense, the RSWIR index stands out compared to the others. |
