Resumo: The work, entitled "The praxis of Agricultural Family School: continuities and permanences in the life of graduate peasants", analyses the reflections of formation obtained by means of alternance pedagogy on six graduate people who have concluded professionalizing high school EFA in Cacoal, Rondônia state. It has for an objective to understand the relationship between the existences of graduate and the actions that they develop today in the field of their work, their family and sociopolitical engagement in movements-organizations. In this study, the Family School history is presented, as well as the contextualization of the research problem, the alternance pedagogy fundaments and its relationship to the concepts of praxis, work and dialectics; the political-pedagogical praxis of this school, the peasant reality and the advance of capitalism on the countryside and the existences of alternance graduates. The research presents itself as being a study case that uses the dialectic approach, having as information collecting instruments of the participating observation, interviews and documents related to the history and organization of this educational experience. The study on the reflections of EFA educative action, among other results, led us to realize that the young graduates who have stayed in the countryside are rare; the concrete opening by the parents with the graduates was fundamental in the constitution of these young people as peasants; the continuity of these studies made it easier for the students and their families, to leave rural environment; peasants' resistance forms, by means of Rural Workers' Syndicate, Small Agriculturists' Movement, the EFA and other countryside social movements in front of the state, have allowed, even minimally, the reduction of rural exodus of the youth; and the personal collective responsibility, the respect for people, the values of the peasant family, the socio-communitary involvement, the defense of an agriculture with sustainability, among other aspects defended by school, are still present in the life of those graduates.
