Resumo: It´s noteworthy that there´re a lot of contents in the field of biological knowledge that require understanding of an abstract nature, making the teaching-learning process difficult. This topic emerged as important for contemporary students who deal with information technologies with daily updates and can also help the teacher to give students the opportunity to contact biological concepts in a virtual way, helping in the teaching and learning process. In this context, we chose one of the most abstract objects of knowledge in the field of Teaching´s Biology, that are some concepts covered in Microbiology classes. The Abstraction is frequently seen in Microbiology classes mainly reason of the dimensions of the organisms treated there. In view of this realization, the following questions emerged and guided the research: How can the use of applications become the Biology classes more attractive and facilitate the teaching-learning process, through investigation? Considering the context of the problem and the research question, the aimed it to develop an application´s educational that can contribute and facilitate the understanding of the biology of the bacteria that compose the human intestinal microbiome, become the Microbiology classes less abstract, increasing the understanding of microbiological concepts. The qualitative approach, the application called MicroBio Bactérias was created by 2nd grade high school students, at a State School in the Rondonópolis city, in the state of the Mato Grosso, and rated by 30 Biology teachers. The data production happened through questionnaires prepared in the Google Forms electronic form, sent via a link through messaging applications. The collaborators of this research found the relevance of the topic approached in the app. The research produced results about the relationship between technology and Biology teaching in the way to optimize an approximation to knowledge in a more practical and investigative way.
