Resumo: | This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of hormonal inducers Carp Pituitary Extract and Ovopel in induced breeding of females and males tambaqui (Colossoma macropomum) during the reproductive cycle, as well as the efficiency of these inductors 60 days after the first induction. In experiment I conducted with females, were evaluated three treatments: 5.5 mg kg-1 bodyweight of Carp Pituitary Extract, 0.2 pellet kg-1 bodyweight of Ovopel pellet and 0.4 kg-1 live weight of Ovopel eight repetitions, totaling 24 experimental units. For the evaluation of reproductive returns were used nine females, three treatments and three replications, (5.5 mg kg-1 Pituitary Extract carp, 0.2 and 0.4 kg pellet Ovopel-1). Was the release of oocytes in the three treatments. Treatment with 0.2 Ovopel pellet kg-1 showed promising results regarding the return breeding (fertilization rate: 84% and hatching rate: 82%) when compared to treatment 5.5 mg kg-1 of Pituitary Extract Carp (fertilization rate: 14% and hatching rate: 48%). The results indicate that the Ovopel can be used efficiently to replace the Carp Pituitary Extract the induction of female reproductive tambaqui being indicated dosage pellet 0.2 kg-1. In the second experiment, conducted with males were evaluated four treatments (control: without hormonal induction, 2.5 mg kg-1 bodyweight of Carp Pituitary Extract, 0.2 pellet Ovopel kg body weight and 0.4 pellet Ovopel kg-1 body weight) and eight replicates, totaling 32 experimental units. For the evaluation of the return reproductive twelve animals were used, three treatments (2.5 mg kg-1 of Carp Pituitary Extract, 0.2 and 0.4 pellet kg-1 bodyweight of Ovopel) and four replications. No significant difference was observed for the parameters sperm concentration and motility between the control treatment and the other treatments. The results indicate that the Ovopel can be used in replacement of Carp Pituitary Extract the induction of male reproductive tambaqui being indicated dosage pellet 0.4 kg-1. The inductor hormonal Ovopel can be efficiently used in replacement of Pituitary Extract Carp tambaqui females and males during the breeding season, and in return their reproductive. |
